More about Eric Durrance & Tobacco Rd. Band

CMT touring artist Eric Durrance formed the Tobacco Rd. Band in 2010. The Tallahassee-born, four-piece band came out of the gate running in and accomplished more in its first year than what some bands spend a lifetime trying to do.  Powered by the songwriting of hit-tunesmith Durrance, the soulful guitar playing of Lex Vance, the solid bass playing of Aaron Halford and the feel-good rhythm of drummer Joe Markham, the Tobacco Rd. Band has been a hit with country fans since the first time they stepped on stage.

Frontman Durrance, who opened for Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum on the 2008 CMT Tour, returned to his Florida roots to create the musical entity that he has called his "dream team."  Says Durrance:  “These are some of the best musicians that I have had the privilege to share the stage with.”

With a nonstop touring schedule and regional radio success to its credit, Tobacco Rd. Band, in addition to performing its original crowd-pleasers such as "Stiff Drink," "Tailgate Saturday." "Boom!"and "Get A Little Loud," also performs the top-10 "Eight Second Ride" hit recorded by country singer Jake Owen, which was co-written by Durrance. The success of the latter song has opened many doors for Durrance & his Tobacco Rd. lineup and continues to be a favorite in the band's set list.

At country radio, 103.1 The Wolf in Tallahassee and XM Satellite Radio/Channel Nashville 11 also have embraced the band's sound by playing the act's three-song debut CD titled Coming Back Around. With 2010 sponsorship from Coors Light and a fan base that mushrooms at every show, Durrance & his TRB bandmates are destined for even greater success.
This rocking-country band is in it to win it, and by their own decree, music lovers are advised to "hold on tight cause it's gonna be wilder than any 'Eight Second Ride'!"
