Country artist Coy Taylor signs with new management, gears for Jan. 24 showcase at Nashville's 12th & Porter

(NASHVILLE)--Country artist COY TAYLOR, whose debut single, "FALL FOR YOU," is climbing up the charts of both Music Row and Billboard's "Indicator" rankings, has signed with Nashville-based Average Joes Entertainment to oversee his career managment.
"I am very excited to have signed management withRusty Harmon at Average Joes Entertainment," shared Taylor. "Rusty has over 20 years in the business with managing very successful acts, such as handling Hootie and the Blowfish for 13 years. With his track record of success, I feel my career is in great hands. I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for my music career." 

A native of Kentucky, Taylor's debut EP, BIGGER THAN LIFE, was produced by Brady Seals and is slated for release in 2012. His inaugural "Fall For You" single is now available for digtial download via iTunes, Beginning in fall 2011, Taylor hit the road--and country radio--in support of his "Fall For You" single, and most recently he's been on the road opening for Average Joes Entertainment's Colt Ford, including recent tour stops in Oklahoma and Louisiana.

In honor of his new affiliation with Average Joes Entertainment, Taylor will perform aTuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, showcase at Nashville's 12th & Porter beginning at 6 p.m.(Doors open at 5 p.m. Admission is free.)


"These shows in Nashville are very tough; there are so many talented people doing shows every night," he added. "You never know who may or may not attend. With that said, we must always be on our game, as if we are playing an arena. ... We want this to be a full on show like nothing Nashville has seen!" 


"This showcase is very important to me. ... This will be the first full show that Rusty (Harmon) and his staff will see me at," Taylor said. "There will be several other industry folks who I highly respect at this show ... (and) it is very important for them to see us at out best.

In other Taylor-related news, a song from Taylor's forthcoming EP, the good-timin', head-bobbin' "Deeper Shade of Blue Collar," was featured in a CNN news story about Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka that aired Jan. 20, 2012. The now-Music City-based Taylor is proud to list Firefly Vodka among his sponsors, as well as Corral Boots, in addition to serving as an official endorsee of Carvin Guitars and Hot Rod Road Cases.

Coy Taylor grew up in the hills of northern Kentucky, immersed at a young age in sounds of Merle Haggard, Johnny Paycheck and Brooks & Dunn while working in his father's tobacco fields. Coy picked up at guitar at a young age and would eventually carve a niche in the Cincinnati, Ohio, music scene.
